| Introduction | Burlington High School Stage Crew is dedicated to providing a professional group of knowledgeable students who act as a running crew for events and groups that use the Fogelberg Auditorium and who keep the space accessible and user-friendly for teachers and students to use to promote further learning. Stage crew in the past has provided a professional group of talented students to run the technical requirements of BHS's annual spring musical. In the past few years, the stage crew has grown to a more cohesive group that not only works on the spring musical, but also works on the Drama Club's fall production, assists traveling theatre groups that perform at BHS, such as the "New Rep On Tour" group, sets up for concerts of the BHS Music Department, and provides technical assistance during school assemblies. Stage crew also in recent years has taken the responsibility of keeping up the Fogelberg Auditorium throughout the school year: organizing its storage spaces, costume/prop room, and set construction shop, and maintaining the sound system, extensive lighting system (including catwalk), and double-purchase fly system. |
