Introduction	Justin Danziger is a 17 year old from New Jersey. Justin applied to the Young Scholar’s program because he is planning on applying to the University of Maryland’s College of Journalism. Justin has always enjoyed writing. He has been writing for SB Nation websites for nearly two years, covering the Boston Celtics and Oklahoma City Thunder. He has been sent to cover events like the NBA Draft and Orlando Summer League, where he has met and interviewed many successful athletes and reporters. He is also the sports editor for his school newspaper, The Northern Star. Aside from writing, Justin likes to watch his favorite sports teams, the New York Giants, the Chicago Bulls and the New York Mets. He plays defense on the lacrosse team for his high school, but also enjoys playing basketball and football with his friends. Justin has one sister, who is going to be a sophomore at Syracuse University. He also has a dog named Millie, who is a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. He plans on pursuing a career in broadcast journalism, but also has interests in law and business. In his free time, Justin likes to relax, watch TV and hang out with friends.
