| Introduction | My name is Erika Nielsen, in addition to this blog I write Cuisine, the food article for Cigar Press Magazine. I was born into a family of cooks and bakers. It's a passion that is so much a part of who I am, of who my family is. However health is also very important to me, even more so now that I have a son with type 1 diabetes. I'm on a quest to find food that is just as healthy as it is delicious, food that is kind to our bodies and comforting to our souls. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the occasional indulgence!
