| Introduction | I have always been a maker - someone who loves working with their hands producing objects for pleasure or function. Even my kindergarten reports praised my "handwork" though I can't remember what I made then, maybe a felt mouse puppet! After quite a few years of trying different mediums I settled on jewellery as the art that satisfied all my criteria: scale of work, range of materials and end product. For the last fifteen years I have been working out of my studio making one of a kind jewellery along with several successful production lines and many custom pieces. Making a living as an artist is always a challenge, but it is one I accept gladly. |
