| Introduction | I love the quote that I read in one of Parker Palmers books, about vocation being "where your great joy meets the worlds deep need." As a Quaker I often find myself frustrated because I tend to identify the work in the world that I am not doing. Recently however I began to ask myself, "What would happen if I started to share the work I AM doing?", and took some time to reflect on it in terms of what it means to me as a Quaker. Perhaps this exercise will help me to live more fully, and connect more deeply with the Spirit. |
