| Introduction | Hello Everyone! Ok after being told for the third time that I have exceeded the 1200 characters, this time I am going to keep it really brief and if you want to know more you'll have to read the blogs or email me! About me... hmmm what do you put here? Well I guess a really potted history maybe? OK I was born, went to school and stuff, got bored and ran away to sea... I joined the Royal Navy first but after a while (16 years) I realised it wasn't for me and moved on to the job I'm in now, working for NERC on the Royal Research Ship James Cook... seems good so far, but then I've only been here for 18 months so check back in about 14 1/2 years and I'll tell you if I like this one!
