| Introduction | I am a fifty-something kid from Santa Barbara who spent a lot of time in Montana and now live in Washington, near Seattle. |
| Interests | Writing, reading, photography, cooking and eating fine food and yummy wine and single malt Scotch. No Limit Hold'em, vacations to the woods and remote places where it is so quiet it hurts your ears, and the night skies blaze brightly with wild stars above. |
| Favorite movies | Top Movie of all time is "The Princess Bride." Probably next would be "The Apostle" by Robert Duvall, and the "The Blues Brothers" and a handful of others, like "Good Will Hunting" and a few others. "The Great Santini" |
| Favorite music | I'm not a big music fan. Usually the radio is playing NPR or BBC talk radio, and I use my iPod for podcasts such as "This American Life." |
| Favorite books | THIS BOYS LIFE by Tobias Wolff, LIAR'S CLUB by Mary Tarr, anything about The Vigilantes of Montana, except maybe the revisionist historians who claim that Henry Plummer was innocent and the Vigilantes were the bad buys. I like literature, history, and the occasional spy thriller. Loved SHOGUN and the earliest Grishams. Pat Conroy is one of my faves. Wish I was a writer of his stature. His autobiography "MY LOSING SEASON" is masterful. |
