| Introduction | I am a hardworking and dedicated individual who has a passion for education, which is reflected in my career choice. My personal beliefs are influenced by my faith in a higher power, Jesus Christ who is the author and finisher of my fate. I enjoy interacting with young children as they see the world through innocent eyes and as the adage goes ‘kids say the darnest things’. I strongly believe that education is a vehicle which opens many doors and should be accessible to all despite of race class or gender. My decision to become a teacher did not come in a moment of blinding revelation, but as a result of a variety of experiences. Thus I enrolled at a tertiary institution where I could garner the necessary skills and techniques necessary to accomplish my goals. The driving force behind my career choice is mainly an innate desire to help others achieve, not just academically, but also mentally and spiritually. The feeling that comes with seeing children being successful in their own right is just indescribable. |
