| Introduction | Hello:-) I´m Vibeke. Born in Uvdal, one of the worlds nicest places! :-). Now, I live in Trondheim, Norway and work as a researcher at SINTEF. I´ve been here since autumn 1999 when I started studying here, except for 1 year abroad study in Karlsruhe, Germany (2002/03), and almost two years in Zürich, Switzerland, working at ETH, and a bit in mountain farms and a mountain hut. I love being outdoor, running, hiking, skiing, cycling.... I spend my time mainly on training, and outdoor recreation and being with friends, besides working and some travelling. Since I was 16 years old I have also competed a lot, first in cross country skiing, then in triathlon. Right now, I compete less myself, but I am coaching the Norwegian triathlon-youths instead. I have been traveling quite a lot around the world related to triathlon competitions and training, and also "just for fun". I love travelling, experience other cultures, visit other mountains and see the sun set in different oceans:-) And I also like to visit Uvdal, and my family there, as much as possible, I never get tired of the beautiful nature there:-) |
