About me

Gender Female
Occupation Artist and Instructor
Location Woodstock, Georgia
Introduction I’ve always drawn. My start began by recreating characters from the Sunday Comics in our local Macon, GA paper. These days my process is to do...learn...quite often begin again, and ultimately create in charcoal, oil and ink. My work allows me to teach through my home studio in Northwest GA, the Marietta Cobb Museum and Big Shanty Art Station in Kennesaw GA. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to instruct and learn as a Resident Artist in schools near Woodstock GA. My intent is to share information so individuals might discover their creative voice in whatever they do. A graduate of Kennesaw State University, I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing and Painting, and a minor in Art History. I’ve had the good fortune to show across Georgia, including The Mable House, Marietta/Cobb Museum and The High Museum of Art. My work Being, Rocks and Water was published in International Artist Magazine in 2014 and my portrait work entitled Hillary is slotted for publication in North Light Books, Strokes of Genius, 2016.
