| Introduction | I study. I study people and time and places and bugs and leaves and flowers and cars and animals and water and life all around me. I watch and I learn and I write what I can and share what I deem important to the world. I have a hard-working, loving husband named Joe and two lovely daughters, Holly and Gwen (the eldest) and a grandson named Aaron. |
| Interests | music (listening and playing), poetry (reading and writing), digging groovy stuff in the world and on tv, walking, cooking, living, breathing. |
| Favorite movies | Huge fan of all great horror films, and most off-the-wall stuff. I also dig disaster films and good indies. I can't name them all, and I don't wish to try. |
| Favorite music | I range from classic rock to alternative to World Music to anything and everything moving, inspirational, or powerful. I could go from Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, Neil Young, and the Rolling Stones to Basque and Irish folk music to the new wave movement of the 80s like the Smiths, the Cure, Flock of Seagulls, and Duran Duran, to alternative of the 90s like Beck, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Blind Melon, to the heaviness of Lamb of God, Boy Hits Car, and The Warriors. I also like Oasis, Warrior Soul, Ali Farka Toure, Habib Koite, and a list too big to name. |
| Favorite books | The bigger the better. I like the Earth's Children Series, Clan of the Cave Bear, Valley of Horses, Mammoth Hunters, Plains of Passage, and Shelters of Stone. I love Clive Barker. I like the Illuminatus Trilogy. I love Calvin and Hobbes, too. I loved the Eregon series, and the Dragonlance series, too. |
For your birthday, your aunt gave you a maple syrup dispenser shaped like a rooster. Please write her a thank-you note:
Dear Auntie, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the most lovely maple syrup dispenser I have ever owned. I will display it proudly upon my kitchen table and think fondly of you every time I see it. You rock! Love, Tanya
