| Introduction | This is our blog regarding our family mission trip and the medical school project. As some of you already know, we have had a heart to go on a short term mission trip as a family over the past couple of years. Recent renewed desire has prompted us to take action. As Christians, we look to the bible for guidance and teaching. Matthew 25:40 says “whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you do for me.” Instead of just offering short term aid of a clinic with foreign health care workers, providing good health care training to Haitians will help build a long term solution for their health care needs. We see this as an opportunity to grow individually and as a family by experiencing the needs of the world and learning how to respond. Our trip will be from Mar. – June 2010 |
