Introduction	I was born and grew up in Coopersville, MI. I became a believer in Jesus in 1968. I went to and graduated from Grand Valley State in 1976. Since graduating, I have generally held bottom level jobs in retail. As to faith, I was connected to Calvinistic churches at first, moved to charismatic/pentecostal churches for about 25 years, and have since been involved in house church/simple church. I tend to be the type of person who be overly logical/under-emotional. I see true faith in Jesus to be culturally subversive.

Favorite movies	I extremely rarely watch movies.
Favorite music	I enjoy worship music. When attempting to think or write, I find instrumental smooth jazz helpful.
Favorite books	Of this, way too many. Over the past couple of years, the works of Frank Viola, Wolfgang Simson, and Neil Cole have influenced me most greatly.
