| Introduction | Our vision: to empower deaf and hard-of-hearing visual artists and young people to take the lead in the contemporary visual arts. We do this through innovative activities that enable them to explore their cultural deaf and hard-of-hearing experiences through conceptual art ideology. We film our activities and have in the past published an in-house quarterly, The Lounge, aiming to increase the profile of Deaf visual art nationwide and trigger dialogue within a broader arts and social entrepreneurial context. |
