| Introduction | Life is tough. If it wasn't, it would be so bucking foring. I make mistakes and often write about them here, but I tend to point the finger too much, in the past. Now I point it in the mirror, then ask myself, "so what do we do to bring balance to this?" This is how I want to translate my blogs now. I could have called one "Something's gotta give" I think, but Ragnar specifically has too much history. |
| Interests | Music - love hearing it, and I like playing drums; cooking and baking; long walks not necessarily on the beach; being outside in the summer; politics; God/Jesus/Universe... but without 'religion'; love good superhero movies, but there aren't many I'd watch more than once; science fiction and stuff that makes your head work; and of course, my wife Janice, daughter Lexy, and cat Marbles/Batcat |
| Favorite movies | If I say directors instead, it's a better representation because I normally like most of what they've done so Chris Nolan, James Cameron, Paul Verhoeven, Stephen Spielberg, Alex Garland, Stanley Kubrick - plenty others too |
| Favorite music | As of today in 2026, Rock isn't dead, but if people stop playing instruments for a living, it may as well be. But I have hope with bands out there right now like Greta Van Fleet, The Struts, Amber Wild and a few others. I think maybe Rock just has to adapt like it has through all the decades. |
| Favorite books | Whitley Strieber is my favorite author. Beyond that I like mostly biographies. Truth be told, I don't read a ton, but just over the last couple of years I've read more books than I have in my entire life. |
You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?
Probably find out who has a China cabinet and ask them if I could drill a hole with a small drill bit, but I would graciously pay for the damaged China in the cabinet.
