| Introduction | I am an English teacher in southern California, and I love reading. It is the single most influential element that has affected the course of my life. It has opened the world to me and made me a better person. Through reading I have been able to learn about and apply life lessons to my own life. Books are friends without judgment, always there, never far away, willing to make me laugh, cry, feel joy and sorrow...and all for the cost of a library card. It is my hope that others will love books as I do. |
