Introduction	I'm a 30-something southern lady...wife to Mike, Mama to the cutest little kids around, Preslie (2) and Wilson (2 months). This blog started out as a place to vent my thoughts and connect with others like me as I battled infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss, a place to find friends and accountability in my weight loss journey, and a general place for everyday thoughts, family squabbles and other random stuff. It became a pregnancy journal when we conceived our miracle babies and will (hopefully!) be a place for me to record all of their milestones...as well as whatever else is crossing my mind on a given day. I'm a bit of a slacker lately as all my time is taken up with the struggles and joys of parenting a strong-willed toddler through the fog of newborn sleep depravation and neediness...and with tackling the mountains of laundry that are threatening to overtake our home! But one day...some day...I'll be back at it regularly. Til then, who knows what I might be writing about but look around, stay a while and see what you can find. Welcome!
Interests	Preslie Jo, laughing, learning how to live a LC lifestyle, gardening, NASCAR, loving my hubby, food, being a good wife, daughter and friend, reading, cooking, cross-stitching, thunderstorms, trying new things that only I would like, still having a BFF, travelling...especially with Mike, gossipping with my sister, catching up with old friends, clean sheets on my bed, my pets, getting healthy, the smell of fresh cut grass, family traditions, listening to little kids talk when they think no one is listening, holidays...especially Christmas, musicals, fireworks, crime dramas on TV and singing really loud (and often a little off key, learning how to be a mom.
Favorite Movies	The Sound of Music, White Christmas, Sweet Home Alabama, Annie, Top Gun, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Juno, Dirty Dancing, most anything girly but not toooo sappy, action and drama are good, too. Just nothing gory...not too big on sci-fi stuff or horror, which are, of course, my husband's favorites.
Favorite Music	Classic rock, Southern rock, Country, Classical Piano, Christian...just about anything but metal and rap.
Favorite Books	I LOVE TO READ...give me just about anything and I'll be happy...current or historical, fiction or not. I especially like Nora Roberts/JD Robb, Mary Higgins Clark, Catherine Coulter and Francine Rivers.

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?
