| Introduction | There was once a man, nay a boy, who loved stories. For him, the world was a playground, a theatre, a quiz show, an amusement park and a laboratory all rolled into one. He did not know anyone else like himself, and he did not want to. He had little patience, and even less sympathy. In his unreal world, the only fragment of reality was his own self, hungry, ambitious and possessing the vision that only madmen possess.
