Introduction My motto is “stay active and anything is possible". My goal is to inspire, motivate and empower individuals to be active and live healthy by providing them with the proper tools and information to help them reach their goals! I also use my own experience training and participating in events such as Half/Full Ironmans, Half/Full Marathons, Duathlons, Trekking to Mount Everest Base Camp and walking 54 miles straight through the hills of Scotland for charity. But how did my career start? Throughout my childhood, I played a variety of sports and ate relatively healthy. But when I started University, I gained 15lbs in my first year and struggled to lose the weight. Frustrated and discouraged, I made a commitment to myself to improve my health by exercising and eating healthy. This proved quite challenging on a college student's budget. But through sheer determination, I slowly started to lose the weight. As result, I found myself developing a passion for health and fitness. This passion inspired me to focus on pursuing a career in the Health and Fitness Industry. Now I have over 20 years Fitness experience and am currently running my own company Positively Active!

If you've never had or would like to work with a personal trainer or coach, what characteristics or qualities would you look for or want from him or her?
