| Introduction | We moved to Hawaii from Los Angeles 25 years ago, got married on the ocean in Kapoho and have 2 children, now in college. I started HawaiianMagic.net Tropical Flowers, an internet florist and gift business, after working for one of the largest tropical flower farms on the Big Island. My first novel "Blood on the Orchids", a thriller that takes place at an orchid nursery in Puna was published in February 2018. In June 2018, we lost our home to the lava. We still believe we live in paradise but are now living living lighter, having lost most of our possessions and are still trying to live our dream of being close to nature, eating local and surfing and enjoying the ocean as much as possible. |
