| Introduction | I'm a veteran animator that has worn a lot of hats over the past 40-odd years. I've been a character animator for over 25 years; I owned a studio for 10 years; I have been a director, writer, storyboard artist, visual effects artist, actor, and an animation instructor/mentor among other things. The job that I enjoy the most also has the best title, "Father". No, I'm not a priest, I have 4 children... I'm currently writing a book on advanced animation techniques, so I have to be careful what I say in this blog or my agent will kill me... This blog is meant to document my current job hunting experience in detail to help my former and future students at Animation Mentor and the Animation Workshop.
