| Introduction | My name is Mia and in 1997 i opened Mias Quiltbod, a very small Quilt Shop (with 40 bolts of fabric) in a small town in Sweden. I'm Also a Janome Dealer, but I'm more of a user than a seller, since my shop is mainly a Quilt Shop. However I really love the bigger machines and for a period I was very much in to making my own embroidery designs, but that has been put on hold for now... I design my own Quilting patterns (only in Swedish so far) and I have a lot of Quilting classes in my shop and in other locations. In July every year I arrange a summer Quilting Camp in Dalarna, a very scenic area of Sweden. The most distant place where I have been teaching was in New Orleans at the Janome Institute in 2005. |
