Introduction	I'm just your average wife, mom of two little ones, second grade teacher, daughter, friend, etc. I am inspired by the creativity of people who have put in the effort to develop their creative talents, such as those seen on Pinterest, Etsy, and many different blogs. Having no other "talents" to speak of, I am making myself a priority this year and putting the effort into developing my creative side. It's always been there, but I have never put enough into it to really be talented. After recently becoming more interested in creating party decor from paper, I made a 2012 New Year's Resolution to try at least one creative project a week, inspired by what I see online or my own creative ideas. This is my journey of creativity, but also of finding ways to balance my many roles in life while still making time for myself.
