Introduction	I am working on a YA novel and I always have several short stories in progress, usually Literary and Dystopian Fiction. I'm also taking a course through Long Ridge Writer's Group. Last year I received an Honorable Mention for a short story entitled "Cane and Able" in the Writer's Digest 78th Annual Writing Competition. I'd like to use this blog to share ideas and knowledge.
Interests	Writing, reading, listening to music, exercise, and hanging out with friends and family. I'm engaged to my beautiful girlfriend Malissa.
Favorite movies	Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill I & 2, Old School, Fight Club, Adventureland, Stepbrothers, and Inglorious Basterds.
Favorite music	I listen to all types, but my favorite is alternative/rock/punk. I used to play the drums, and someday maybe I'll get back into that!
Favorite books	Too many to list! Some of my favorite authors are: Anne Rice, Ayn Rand, Alex Haley, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Homer, Dave Pelzer, Ray Bradbury, George Orwell, Gregory Maguire, Anne McCaffrey, Edgar Allen Poe, and Harper Lee.
