Introduction Mark Larson creates works for the stage. He began by directing numerous theater productions for art galleries, abandoned buildings and regional theaters across the United States. Working as an independent theater producer since 1978, Mr. Larson's notable productions include Pompeii Day/Elvis In Berlin (1978), Untitled (1984), Song of Songs (1988), Prometheus Bound (1997) Hamlet (1999) and The Rich Boy (2001). Under the auspices of the Mission Santa Clara at Santa Clara University, he and choreographer Kristin Kusanovich have written and produced five contemporary liturgical dramas including The Book of Ruth (2004), The Life of Clare of Assisi (2008). The most recent, Six Psalms, premiered in May 2013 and was also presented at Marquette University in November 2014. A new theatre production - Mexico A Play Gertrude Stein - will be staged at the Cupertino Public Library in April 2015. Mr. Larson lectures on film history at Santa Clara University and Stanford University and the Cupertino Public Library.
