| Introduction | My name is Kyrie Guzman. I am an independent voter, and voted only once during the 2008 election. My father is a Republican in the Army and is my biggest political influence due to his passion for it. However, I do not identify myself as a Republican, I care more about the issue at hand and not the political affiliation. I like to think of myself as open minded and am willing to look at issues from different views. I am hoping this class will make me more politically aware of what goes on in Texas government. I need this class to major in math and become a teacher. |
