| Introduction | I am a military wife of 18 years and counting. Wow! Time flies when you're having fun! We have lived in some very wonderful places but out of them all Guantanamo bay, Cuba was the best. We were stationed there for 3 years and I picked up a very nasty habit...sea glass collecting! The shear amount of sea glass that one could find in Gtmo was staggering and the quality was amazing. At first, collecting was a fun thing to do at the beach. Later a very good friend asked me to join her already successful jewelry business, Castaways Jewelry. Over the year that we worked together we made some very beautiful sea glass jewelry. After coming back to the states, I realized that I really missed making jewelry. Now I'm back in full swing and enjoying creating with these lovely gems from the sea. |
