| Introduction | I am a freshman college student studying microbiology and political science. I have been told I look at the world through the cold lens of rationalism and realism, to which I reply, "Through which lens do you look; superstition, illusion and made up entities in the sky?" Realism is nothing short of the correct view of the world, rationalism is nothing short of a belief system that consists of acting on the truth. I am a liberal agnostic who raised in a family of conservative Baptists. Coming out of this lifestyle, I grew an immense appreciate for science, genetics, world religions, philosophy and equality among all people. One of my causes in life is the equal rights of gay and same-sex couples. I believe in this right with all my gray matter. I try my best everyday to act upon truth and reality. I believe that truth does not come from any supernatural being, but I will not hastily say that no such being exists. |

I don't see how I would eat if I was a hot air balloon. Or why I would need to for that matter.
