Introduction	We were blessed with Alex (through foster/ adoption) in 2001, right after a move and during a time that we were "church shopping". After 6 years of searching for a church that would accept Alex and his special needs, I felt lead to start a ministry to help the church understand the needs of families who have children with special needs and to reach out to those families.
