| Introduction | My name is Andrew but I usually go by Andy. I have two sons Robert and Ryan (Bavetta.com) (CrazyBuilders.com) and three grandchildren Scott, Lindsey and Jill. I spent most of my life in the Los Angeles area. I moved to Northern California (Truckee) after I retired in 1997 from Hughes Aircraft Co in El Segundo, CA. I enjoy outdoor activities the most. Lately my passions have been skiing in the winter and biking (road and mountain) during the summer. I also enjoy WW kayaking but have not boated much lately. I prefer the mountains and the beach to the flatlands. I like to be around people but I'm also OK hanging out alone. These days I work in the winter as a ski instructor at Northstar at Tahoe in Truckee CA. I love dogs and I am not too fond of cats. I have a HD DirecTV/TIVO setup and I use it mainly to watch news/political shows including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report with Stephan Colbert, Sacramento Kings basketball, USC football, World Cup FIS skiing and the cycling tour. I like to travel but prefer to combine it with some sort of outdoor activity like biking. |
