| Introduction | I am a young British ceramicist/potter. Currently studying Three Dimensional Design at Manchester Metropolitan University, I have found my calling in the world of ceramics with, more recently, focus on pottery. I do enjoy occasionally dabbling in fine metal work but my passion is ceramics. My current work is focusing on throwing and experimenting with different textured techniques and glazing. My main inspirations come from nature - natural form and textures and also from the qualities of the clay itself and how it acts during the making process and firing. I aspire to be an independent ceramicist, selling and exhibiting my work and running workshops from my own studio. |

| Favorite books | Harry Potter, The Northern Lights Trilogy, I like to read novels that are either based in a different era or which are based in a world like ours but which has magical influences - so its almost realistic but still fantasy/science fiction. I also like crime/detective novels to a certain extent. |
