| Introduction | The fight to legalize medical marijuana in the United States has been a strange one. Some states have been very quick and open to legalizing medical marijuana in a variety of forms, while other states have remained stagnant in their policy changes regarding medical marijuana. We have reached a tipping point in our country - the fact is that well over half of the United States have legalized medical marijuana in the past few years. The year 2020 and the effects of the pandemic, including financial strain and economic concerns, have been helpful in pushing some states to legalize medical marijuana. However, it is now getting to the point that there is complete inequality in the treatment options available from state to state, since some states remain very against the idea of legalizing medical marijuana. |
