Introduction	I am the sometimes sane mother of three boys; two of whom have autism. I love a good book, a lesisurly conversation and having one of my kids nestled against me, still weak with sleep. (Truthfully, with the help of my-x-college-linebacker-husband's genes, my boys at 10, 12 and 14 don't so much nestle as hulk-smash. But "nestled" conjurs up a much softer poetic image than the reality of their dead weight strangling the last few breaths out of my lungs). I loath IEP meetings, melt-downs, homework, and searching for missing gloves. My greatest wish: More days that feel more like December 24 and less days that feel like December 26.
