| Introduction | I am a fun-loving, tall, dark, handsome (or so I'm told!) young man. I was in a horrible car accident on July 25, 2010, and NOTHING has been the same in my life since that day. I am what you call a "miracle"! I was not expected to live...but by the grace of God, I did. Then I was not expected to ever wake up. I was in a coma for almost four months, but AGAIN by the grace of God I did wake up! I have been in the biggest fight of my life ever since that time. I have been in six medical facilities across Texas...Waco, Temple, Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and now back to my hometown of Waco. I am 23 and still fighting to regain my life. The accident left me with a Traumatic Brain Injury. I am unable to TALK, WALK, or EAT. I am praying that the grace of God will save me yet again. I can do this!!! With the help of my family, the power of God and MY very own determination, strength and will-power, I WILL do this!!! There is just no other way. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I have always loved Superman. My family tells me I am now THEIR Superman. I pray I can live up to that title. |
