| Introduction | I am living the dream and BACK to teaching at Beaverdam Elementary as the one and only full time art teacher! As a BES alumni myself, I am so excited to teach at the very school where my passion for art education all began many years ago. In this blog you will see lessons being taught to K-5 throughout the school year and other creative happenings in the art room each week. I love giving our students the opportunity to work in various art media from paint to clay to papier-mâché! I am also an artist in my personal life and am currently earning my Masters in Interdisciplinary Arts at VCU. I look forward to sharing the wonderfully creative moments that happen everyday in the art room at BES! GO BEAVERS!! |
