| Introduction | I am a part time volunteer and Chairman of Vision Africa. I live in Watford and am married with 3 grown up boys. In my day job I run a busy global Service Design team for BT (British Telecom). I have been Chairman of Vision Africa since it's inception in 2001. While it is sometimes difficult to give it the time it deserves, I count being Chairman as a real privilege. Of course, I'm not a one man band and we have a great team at Vision Africa that makes our work possible. This blog started in September 2007 when I led a fundraising challenge to Trek to the top of Mount Kenya. With the support of my friends and colleagues we were able to raise a fantastic amount of money (around £20k) which provided support for a lot of children! |
