Favorite books	Any Terry Pratchett, To Say Nothing of the Dog, any Queen Betsy, ditto Eva Ibbottson and Diana Wynne Jones. And don't forget Jeanne Birdsell, Edward Eager, Noel Streatfeild and of course the wonderful Edith Nesbit.

He died a year ago, but even if he hadn't, I don't like candy apples so he would be welcome to it.
