Introduction	I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis at the age of 12. I had my large intestine removed when I was 17. I have since then lived with Crohn's disease which is affecting my small intestine. These diseases affect 1.4 million people in the United States. We must direct more resources to finding a reason why and a cure. I'm here to help anyone going through this.
