| Introduction | Alicia-Marie is a caregiver, death midwife, herbalist, Reiki master, and writer. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science and a minor in journalism from Johnson State College in 2003 and a certificate in herbalism from Wisdom of the Herbs School in 2013. A deeply spiritual soul, she can often be found digging in the garden, out among the trees, playing the piano, or with a book in hand. Her blog, Wild Hearth, explores the relationship between daily life and the soul's expression through the land. She currently lives in eastern Connecticut.
