Introduction	I'm a Portuguese living in the UK. I suffer from Ulcerative Colitis since 2004. Medication failed to treat me and as a result I had to have my whole colon removed. I lived with an ileostomy for over a year and now I have an internal pouch. I began to quilt when I was recovering from the first of three surgeries. Now that I feel healthy and back to normal life again, I try to squeeze in some sewing whenever I can. I'll try to share with you anything that comes to mind and touches me in any way.
