| Introduction | On May 12, 2008, Torger Hougen was rushed to the Anchutz Cancer Center at University Hospital in Denver with a white blood cell count of 253,000. The medical team led by Dr. William Tse diagnosed him with type AML leukemia. In October 2008, Torger underwent a peripheral stem cell transplant. This blog documents what we hope will be his full recovery and the return to a healthy life. |
