| Introduction | Hi. :) I'm Emily. I am a baker. I am also a culinary student at Johnson & Wales University. Go figure. The majority of what I know, was learned through experimenting in the many kitchens I've been in. I am in the process of moving to Denver from Boulder, to start my culinary school adventure. I have always gotten funny looks for my career of choice. This is purely because I am allergic to milk proteins. Because of this, I cannot consume any amount of dairy (butter included) unless I want to walk away with a nice batch of hives. Due to my allergy and my gluten free boyfriend, I have shifted my focus over to alternative baking. And of course by that I mean any sort of alterations that can be done to a recipe to make it friendly for any of us allergy ridden folks. I have a thing for colorful cakes, cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, and doughnuts. Through this blog, you will get a bit about my life, a lot about my food adventures, and what life is really like in culinary school.
