| Introduction | I am an Italian illustrator based in Bristol. The things I like to draw the most are: animals, musicians (sometimes animals playing music!), life in Bristol, theatre life, circus people, film characters and other bizarre creatures. I like to use different media and to experiment new techniques on every new project. Pencils, watercolors and inks are my basic tools but I love to use collage to mix different textures, both physical and digital. My sources of inspiration are: Roald Dahl & Quentin Blake, Marcel Sendak, 1800 and early 1900 prints and engravings, celtic and norwegian legends, Joan Mirò, Edgar Allan Poe, folk art from Asia Middle-East and Russia, Emanuele Luzzati, Jean de Brunhoff, Stepan Zavrel, Lorenzo Mattotti, Manuele Fior and many more...
