| Introduction | I am a Pilot, a pilot’s wife and now a mother too. I was born overseas and loved every second of my childhood. I’ve learnt that many people have no idea what it’s like to be an expat, they see the foreign country and assume glamour and adventure. I’ve transited through a few countries and am currently making the UAE home. It’s hot, sandy and can be difficult at times, but it’s home for the foreseeable future so we might as well make a good go of it. A job, a husband, two beautiful daughters and family 4600 miles away, it’s life, my life, and seeing as there is only one of me, I guess that makes it a unique life! I tend to ramble, make up silly poems and generally go on about all the different facets of my life and how they fit together.. Or not as the case may be!
