| Introduction | Welcome to "In Moscow." The site address is "vmoskvu" or "to Moscow" because I'm on my way there. The blog itself will be about life "in" Moscow (and elsewhere in Russia). I am the Rector of St. Silouan Orthodox Church in Walla Walla, and Chairman of the Dept. of Mission Work for the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia. From Sept. 22, 2009 I will be in Russia, studying Russian language at the Moscow State University, while residing at the Sretensky monastery in the city center. Whenever able to do so, I hope to add videos, pictures, and commentary of my time in Moscow. |
