Introduction | I am a former elementary school teacher and differentiation specialist turned stay at home mom. I hold an elementary teaching certificate as well as a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. I had taught for the Plainfield School District for 9 wonderful years before leaving to follow my dreams. I absolutely love teaching, and feel it is a part of who I am! After being home for a few months, I began to miss my students, my classroom, and most of all TEACHING! I decided to create lessons and games to use at home to teach my 4 year old to read. After months of researching and prepping, I had a vision and plan and got to work! As I worked with my 4 and 2 year olds with these lessons, I saw great results. At that moment, I found my calling and knew I could still teach, but in a different way! I realized I can offer my services to parents in a small group setting! And so my story begins!! |
Interests | Running, creating curriculum, and spending time with my family. Whether it be going for walks, to the park, or working on puzzles; they are my life, and I love life! |
Favorite Movies | I can't say I have a favorite, but of the ones I have seen, The Notebook, Bridesmaids, and Fireproof are among the top. |
Favorite Music | I listen to anything from Christian Rock, to Classical, to upbeat party music. I am well rounded! |
Favorite Books | I enjoy the Diana Gabaldon series |
