| Introduction | My passion for reading began in the second grade. It started actually with the fear of what would happen if I didn't read. Sr. Phillanilla was ancient and stood only about three foot seven, but she scared the becheezits out of me. So when she said, "Read!" I read, and read, and read. My passion for writing also began that year. It probably started with having to fill a page of lined paper with "I shall not talk in class." From there grew characters, then conflict, then plot and all those good things. |
