| Introduction | I'm a wife, mom and proud grandma to 3 beautiful busy boys! I have always had a creative side as long as I can remember. I love to paint, sew, paper craft, refinish furniture and my list goes on and on. My newest love is re-purposing as it is not only good for our environment but a whole lot of fun to see what you can do with something old and worn out. Now that I have reached my 50's I decided to start a bucket list and this is one I can now cross off. I hope to make some wonderful new friends along this journey and hopefully someone will get as much joy seeing my creativity as I do making it happen. Oh and one more thing I'm finally no longer embarassed to enter a thrift store or good will!! It's now become an addiction to find my next piece to work on! Who’d of figured!! I actually can remember my first time scavenging for jewels and my friend Dawn hid on the floor boards of the truck as her children and I flew around town on city wide garbage day!! When you live in a small town everyone knows you and your business so it was quite an adventure. Oh the memories. Long gone the embarrassment!! Blessings to all - Char |
