| Introduction | I am a former research scientist, developing mathematical and statistical methods for automated visual identification, with a number of publications on this. I am now an aerial acrobat in a community circus troupe involved in Contemporary Circus. I perform and teach tissus lisse, corde lisse, and trapeze. I am a director in a theatrical company "Liquid Spoon", a playwright, and composer of music for physical theatre and contemporary circus. I have in the past also been a developer on the OpenShot Non-Linear Video Editor for Linux. |

Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
I prefer whistling with wood, because that means woodwind instruments which make beautiful music. If you whittle with soap, you are not left with much when bathtime comes!
