| Favorite music | I love what my itunes classifies as rock, folk, alternative, rock/pop, jazz, classical... The shorter list would be what I don't listen to: songs that rhyme "baby" with "crazy" (unless said song is from the 80's), hardcore thug rap, or artists who would be considered for VH1 Divas Live. |
| Favorite books | Anything by David Sedaris, Jodi Picoult, Toni Morrison, Rebecca Wells (because they describe home), jd salinger, Chuck Klosterman... I collect old style and etiquette books (the advice is bizarre and always interesting), mental floss books (I love the gossip behind history) and travel books for all the places I've yet to see personally. |
Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
I had a good time whittling soap to make mock-ups for an old sculpture class in college...until I realized I would then have to sculpt that design out of pecan. Not as fun.
